I've got this song I love... and it means something amazing to me, as I sang it at the funeral of my baby nephew. I have never sung it in public since, and have done little singing in public at all since then. Basically, I was listening to it yesterday and passed it onto Sarah [ClaytonAikenFan86] who said it would be a good song to make a montage too. So this is for her!
Now, I've gone for an odd approach here. Clay's always saying how blessed he is to have us, and I always feel like I'm the blessed one, and that my support for him is nothing. The lyrics kind of represent that, and I think I used all my BAF/UNICEF pictures I have at the minute.
This song is sang by Gareth Gates, runner-up of Pop Idol 1, and the sufferer of a serious stammer. Gareth never has an easy time for the media, and at the time he wrote this song, he could barely introduce himself to someone. Thus the line;
If the words don't come my way I hope you still know what my heart wants to say.
Gareth was 18. He's back now, his 23rd birthday was on Thursday. I need people to realise he's an amazing guy, as well as realising Clay's got his priorities straight too. Gareth is a teacher on the McGuire Programme for stammerers. Please give this a listen. The audio was taken from Gareth's live performance of this song during his tour in Korea. He's from Bradford, England.
This montage is spoiler free. I took time and care to be sure of that so everyone can enjoy it!
