James Blunt - The Truth (Studio Performance)

It’s been more than fifteen years since James Blunt’s ‘Back to Bedlam’ album rocketed the former British Army officer into international pop stardom. Though the days of seeing him leap off a cliff anytime you turned on VH1 or MTV may be over, “You’re Beautiful” and “Goodbye My Lover” remain legendary pop ballads. These days, the singer is endearing as ever - especially on Twitter where he lets his occasionally raunchy humour run wild. Recently, while promoting the ‘Time Suspended’ edition of his effervescent ‘Once Upon A Mind’ release, he tweeted, “Oh f**k, I forgot to tell you - I have a new album out today.” We certainly didn’t forget - because at the start of the year, Vevo’s NYC production crew captured performances of the heart-touching “Monsters” and “The Truth.” Both are sure to get you feelin, as Mr. Blunt might say, “f**king high.”
