Day 3 - If you are not a fan of seated forward folds in yoga, this may be an alternative way to gently stretch the back, hamstrings and hips. Tomorrow's class will focus on bringing balance into these areas with contraction and relaxation.

This will be a thoughtful series for somatic fans to reference and build the confidence to know how to do the movements on your own. It will also introduced yoga teachers to simple somatic yoga that you can use as warm ups and incorporate into whatever class style you teach. We will play and explore one somatic movement each day. Classes will be 30-45 minutes to allow time before and/or after the gentle movement portion for still relaxation or guided meditation. It is our brain that moves the body. Somatic Body Prayer is a way to listen to and improve communication between the brain and body while offering ourselves kindness.

Day 3 Release Low Back & Hamstrings with Swimming Spirals
Day 4 Balance Hamstring & Gluteal Muscles - Activation & Relaxation
Day 5 Get To Know Your Feet, Feelers For The Spine
Day 6 Unrestrained Ankles, Knees & Hips, Jewels Of The Spine
Day 7 Neck Release With Nerve Flossing
Day 8 Freedom For The Core in Full Body X
Day 9 Awakening Side Body With Lateral Bends
Day 10 Spinal Rotation From Tongue To Tail
