Restylane Silk is injected into the tear trough to add volume and lift the area. It uses a hyaluronic acid, a natural sugar found in the skin. We use a cannula for deep fat pad lifting for less swelling, pain and bruising. A needle can be used for single microdroplet depot injections to the superficial tear trough and discoloration. Results are seen immediately. There is minimal swelling up to 2 weeks and lasts 6-9 months.
