Mount Washington winter climb is extreme and should only be attempted after proper mountaineering trainer and with correct gears.
On 19 Feb 2020 average wind speed was 55+ mph with -27 degree windchill and visibility.06 miles. Only few ppl summited early morning when sky was clear and sun was shining.
Group of 8 Marylanders put best effort with multiple crampon failures and falls. No summit on this fine day, group came short of 500 feet from summit.
