After an 8 hour sail from Penzance we found ourselves in paradise - it really is hard to believe that this is in the UK! Some 28 miles from Land's End, the Scilly Isles are a beautiful archipelago of islands in the Atlantic Ocean.

We took a mooring buoy in St Mary's harbour, the biggest island in the group and set about exploring.
