“Weselny Mazur” to niezwykła kompozycja L.U.C. z nagrodzonej Złotą Płytą ścieżki dźwiękowej do filmu “Chłopi”, którą kompozytor stworzył z międzynarodową Rebel Babel Film Orchestra. W nagraniach tego niezwykłego soundtracku wzięło udział prawie 100 muzyków z wielu krajów słowiańskich. Ścieżka dźwiękowa prezentuje wiele ciekawych zespołów i solistów świata folku i world music (Laboratorium Pieśni, Dagadana, Sutari, Lor). Tańce z filmu stały się inspiracją dla wielu tancerzy, zespołów tańca i choreografów dlatego L.U.C. niezależnie od symfonicznych koncertów przygotowuje wielkie taneczne widowisko, którego premiera odbędzie się 26 kwietnia na Torwarze. Pojawią się tam m.in. Kayah, Kwiat Jabłoni i Bela Komoszyńska.

„Chłopi” to animacja malarska w reżyserii DK i Hugh Welchmanów, twórców “Twojego Vincenta”. Tym razem duet postanowił przenieść na wielki ekran esencję polskiego dziedzictwa narodowego - noblowską powieść Władysława Reymonta, malarstwo Młodej Polski oraz porywającą muzykę korzeni.
Film “Chłopi” otrzymał tytuł Bestsellera Empiku 2023. Sukces filmu w dużej mierze opiera się na fenomenalnej ścieżce dźwiękowej. Bogata muzyka filmowa zagrana wyłącznie na autentycznych ludowych instrumentach połączona z ożywionym malarstwem stanowi niezwykle bogaty i barwny projekt artystyczny. Ścieżkę dzwiękową do “Chłopów” stworzyli m.in. Kayah, Kwiat Jabłoni, Ralph Kaminski, Apolonia Nowak, Dagadana, Lor, Laboratorium Pieśni, Sutari, Tęgie Chłopy, Maria Pomianowska, Julia Wieniawa, Bela Komoszyńska, Małgorzata Kożuchowska, T.ETNO, ale także ukraińscy artyści (Chór Vyrij) i białoruski dudziarz Vital Voronau pod batutą L.U.C & Rebel Babel Film Orchestra.

“Wedding Mazurkas” is a song from “The Peasants” Original Motion Picture Soundtrack created by Łukasz L.U.C. Rostkowski with Rebel Babel Film Orchestra. Nearly 100 musicians from many Slavic countries took part in the recording of this extraordinary soundtrack. The soundtrack presents many interesting bands and soloists from the world of folk and world music (Laboratorium Pieśni, Dagadana, Sutari, Lor, Chor Vyrij). The dances from the film have become an inspiration for many dancers, dance groups and choreographers, which is why L.U.C. independently of the symphonic concerts is also preparing a great dance spectacle, the premiere of which will take place on April 26 at Torwar. There will be, among others: Kayah, Kwiat Jabloni and Bela Komoszyńska.

To create “The Peasants” score Łukasz L.U.C. Rostkowski brought together numerous Slavic musical and vocal cultures from Poland, Ukraine, and elsewhere, using only historical instruments, no electronics. The score for “The Peasants” is a combination of symphonic folk tunes, choirs, and more modern-sounding contemporary scoring, and it is a massive, joyous celebration of that entire culture, just as the movie itself - which is a painting adaptation of Nobel prize novel of Władysław Reymont.

“The Peasants” is the latest film from Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA nominated directors DK Welchman and Hugh Welchman. Following the success of her previous film Loving Vincent, which was seen by over 6 mln viewers in the cinema, “The Peasants” was produced in the same painting technique that won the hearts of fans around the world. The story is based upon the Nobel Prize-winning novel by Wladyslaw Reymont.
