A temporary waste disposal area is covered by a massive amount of debris from the Kinugawa river flooding in Joso, Ibaraki Prefecture, on Wednesday. Six of these areas are already full of debris, prompting four more to be created in Joso and neighboring cities where lines of trucks were waiting to drop off more waste collected in the prefecture. The city estimates that the disaster created 26,544 tons of debris in Ibaraki Prefecture, 24,332 tons from Joso alone.
