The Kender Song of Mourning from Dragonlance: Leaves from the Inn of the Last Home (copyright TSR 1987). On the one hand, it's a sad mournful ode and I feel the Violoncello conveys that. On the other hand, it is Kenders, so there still needs to be a bit of childishness to it, so the vocal part is done on the banjo. Banjo vocals should give it that silly, happy go lucky feel you'd expect from a Kender, but the melody is such that it's not happy this time.
