Born and raised in Orkney, and in the midst of an acclaimed three album project inspired by the islands, composer Erland Cooper has created a new ambient, sonic portrait of Orkney’s rich landscape, communities and thriving industries, using sounds submitted by residents and fields recordings from 5G-enabled microphones, temporarily planted in the landscape.
