In the climactic third part of "Return of the Green Ranger," the Dragonzord, under the Wizard's control, wreaks havoc. Tommy, weakened by the existence of his evil clone, struggles to fight, but uses a clever trick to learn the Rangers' location. Zordon reveals the key to freeing them from the Wizard's grasp, and the Rangers return to the present, witnessing the devastation caused by the Dragonzord and its past incarnations. A fierce battle ensues, with the Dragonzord overwhelming the Tigerzord. Tommy, despite his weakened state, manages to seize the Wizard's wand, destroying him and freeing the clone. Feeling remorse, Tommy sends the Dragonzord back to its slumber, while the clone chooses to remain in the past. This episode features the epic clash of the Green and White Rangers, the Dragonzord and Tigerzord, and marks the last appearance of the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger until "Fighting Spirit."
