I must admit - I am impressed with this backpack way more than expected! I wanted something versatile that I could travel with to both the city and forest excursions on a cruise trip to Alaska. Comfortable enough for hikes, but stylish so it doesn’t scream REI :) My requirements included water resistant fabric, padded straps, and big volume. The only thing this backpack missing from my original list is a chest clip, but I’m going to try to use an add-on strap I bought separately.
I originally bought a Vera Bradley backpack in their water-resistant fabric, but it was so much heavier than LOVEVOOK with way more rigid shoulder straps (and x5 the price!!!!). This is such an impressive alternative for way cheaper without sacrificing quality.
The details are amazing - extra stitching on the oh so nicely padded straps, beautiful details on the side pockets (I was pleasantly surprised that one of the pockets can also be used for a wipes pack with a center access opening - will come in handy as I’m traveling with 2 little kids). So many pockets, and each compartment opens up wide for easy access.
I filled it up to get a feel of how it looks fully expanded and loaded with weight, and it sits great on my 5’6” frame.
Now on to a real life test at the cruise and I’ll update if my opinion changes afterwards :)
It fits under airplane seat. Sorry pic dark. I love all the compartments and the small one on back wear straps are. This worked perfect on my business trip and fit my laptop perfectly. There was still plenty of room for other items like a jacket or toiletry bag.
I ordered this for college, even though I do college online, I need to drag my laptop everywhere with me and this bag is perfect for that. With everything I carry in my bag I thought it would be so heavy, but I had to walk a mile to get to my destination and it felt like nothing! It’s also so aesthetically pleasing, the wine color is so vibrant and the material feels good, and as someone with ADHD, sensory overload is a struggle. This bag carries SO much and would be perfect to use for work, school, traveling and even a hospital bag!
This is my 3rd Lovevook purchase. I bought my first one in 2021 when I went back to college. I loved it but the handles were a bit worn. My first one was a different fabric and pink. This time I decided on a slighlty different look and even more pockets. I am going to order the gray for my daughter who's in high school. She really liked mine.
Bought this because two ladies at work have them and used them for about 9 months and they still looked brand new!! I purchased the Burgundy one... and it's so VERY pretty in person too!!
I only wish they made a matching Rolling or Spinner Carry-On Luggage... I just bought a Spinner Carry-On that looks similar from another company.. Will compare and post pics and the name or a link... if it matches well enough... and is good quality... Gotta admit I'm hopeful!!!
