Here’s what you can do for your fish:
[UPDATED DESCRIPTION] 11-30-21 🌀
* I don’t always recommend breeding boxes, wish I had known better! It’s one of the main reasons guppies go into early labor. If there’s a possible way for you to get a separate fish tank for your female guppies to give birth that would be awesome & if not… be sure to have enough floating plants around your tank and scoop those babies right up whenever you catch them roaming towards the top of the tank.
* If you dont have floating plants & you have a breeding box then you can do that as an alternative ONLY if you notice her going into labor!
* Feed her after giving birth
* You can wait to remove her fry (babies) after labor or remove them immediately if she starts to eat them. It’s a very common thing for some guppies to eat their fry if they didn’t eat well before going into labor.
* Make sure water temperature is between 74-80 degrees Fahrenheit to welcome her fry comfortably
* Put some hiding stuff like live plants or trim some artificial ones and fix it accordingly in the breeding box where the fry are so that other fish won’t harass them
