A way to secure your furniture to the wall in case of any earthquake for literally pennies per item. I use this method prior to the Northridge earthquake and none of the pieces of furniture moved. I do have to say this is probably not the best way. But it did work in my case. This is good for anybody who can't afford or doesn't want to spend a lot on costly furniture earthquake straps. Material and tools needed; 16gauge wire, 1 inch and 2 inch wood screws, a stud finder, a pencil, a pair of pliers and wire cutters, and a power screwdriver.
