Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday attended a military parade honoring the 67th anniversary of the Soviet and allies' victory in World War II, or what is known in Russia as the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
At the opening ceremony in Red Square, Vladimir Putin said no one must forget how fascism was emerging and that international norms and the sovereignty of each nation must be observed and respected.
Russia is conducting a persistent policy of global security strengthening, President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday as he addressed participants and guests of the traditional Victory Day parade.
