BDS kicks off their latest project build by taking apart and cutting up a two-door 2021 Ford Bronco. The plan is pretty simple, transform this off-the-lot Bronco into an ultra-capable fire/rescue themed, "half-Cab" pickup truck in just a few weeks, then debut it at the 2021 SEMA Show. The plan includes cutting and sectioning the original fiberglass roof, building a rear bulkhead and bed from scratch (floor and sides) then finishing off the truck with a one-off tonneau cover, plus a bed slide and rack.
While the transformation takes place, BDS is hard at work developing and installing its all-new 6.5" lift suspension system that features extreme-duty control arms for maximum reliability, clearance, and "droop" travel. FOX Performance Elite Series 2.5" coilovers will complete the suspension install. From the factory, the new Ford Bronco chassis serves as an excellent foundation for suspension upgrades. Look for future updates.
