The town of Luang Prabang is one of only 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Laos. This charming town is home to Buddhist temples and pilgrim sites, preserved buildings of Lao and French colonial fusion, amazing natural attraction and the solemn and ceremonious Tak Bat or Alms-giving.
Laos is a land-locked country in mainland Southeast Asia, but the might Mekong River meanders through Indochina, serving a natural water highway for the people of Luang Prabang and the whole of Laos.
