One person has been shot dead, and three wounded, as taxi-related violence continues in Cape Town. The deadly shooting happened in Borchard's Quarry near Nyanga.
The victim was ferrying workers on Monday morning when his vehicle was torched. Four more Golden Arrow buses were burnt, and several vehicles were set alight at the City of Cape Town depot.
Stoning of vehicles and burning of properties were also reported on day 5 of the provincial taxi shutdown.
