How to build a DJ Booth for under $300!
A fun little diy project. Made my own DJ Booth for private events. I converted a portable bar table to a DJ Booth.
How this came about? With the popularity of DJ Furniture on the rise, I was looking for an inexpensive DJ facade table w/ a bottom shelf for my private events. I wanted something with a bottom shelf, so I can put my Skb 3U shallow rack (which houses my wireless mic & power conditioner) on it. It seems there are no small facade tables out there in the market with one.
With no luck, I searched portable counters & bar tables on Amazon. And surprisingly this portable bar table popped up. Sure enough, it fit everything I was looking for! LFG!!! I’m 6ft tall so it’s the right (height - 38 inches), the (table top is 47 inches long) & (diameter is 19 inches). It does have a bottom shelf, which is what I initially was looking for. I like that it’s black & mobile.
I cut a few 2-inch holes for wire management. Will get some grommet covers from Amazon. Bottom shelf is so clutch & LED strip is a plus! I’m also looking to add a mounted laptop stand onto the table. That’ll be in a future video.
I’m the first to do this, so what should I call it? The Kev1Booth!? If you do decide to do the same, give me a shout out & the credit! It’s all I ask, Lol
Here’s the link to the table:
