Stamped surfaces can be accomplished in so many different ways. You can stamp one stamp at a time to cover a surface, allowing you to mix and match. But what if you had a large surface you wanted to cover with a single wrap-around image? And what if you wanted that image to be embossed (raised) versus debossed (imprinted into the surface)?
In this follow-up workshop to Sarah’s Making Your Own Stamps, she demonstrates how she thinks about and engineers her texture rollers. Topics will include the construction and surface of the roller, how to make them the sizes you want, and testing them before bisque firing.
