Thanks for listening! One of my most popular requests is Three Dog Night's 1973 hit "Shambala". I don't know why "Shambala" never received a proper stereo release as stereo mixes were the norm in 1973. The released stereo versions used pseudo acoustics to give this great song a stereo sound stage resulting in odd sounding vocals and drums. In this new remix, I have used pseudo acoustics but at a mere minimum. I only used it for the guitars and keyboards. The bass and drums are boosted in the center stage along with the vocals. Reverb was added to contribute more of a stereo effect. The drums were recorded nicely in this song and I believe my boost added to the energy and punch of the recording. Nothing new was added to this remix other than the reverb. This should now be more in the style of the recordings from the original's era. By the way, this is a "bare-bones" video. I'll probably increase this type of video to crank out more audio remixes in the future.
