Ahmedabad is India’s first UNESCO World Heritage City . Exploring the old city and its history can be more exciting if you opt for a heritage walking tour which has many pols (gated complexes for a particular community). We took our 2 hours morning walking tour starting at Swaminarayan Mandir Kalupur from 8.15am and ending with delicious breakfast at the iconic 100+ years Chandravilas restaurant that is famous for jalebis and local delicacies.
In Manek Chowk try : Chaswala for yummy Lassi, ice creams, milkshakes. Pineapple Ice cream sandwich at the chowk area many sell it, Pav bhaji , pulav etc we found normal like other cities.
