#### Installing Google Chrome on Ubuntu
Graphically [Method 1]


1. Download Chrome:

Open your preferred web browser (e.g., Firefox)
and go to
the official Chrome download page.

automatically detect your system and provide you
with the

2. Install Chrome:

Locate the downloaded .deb file (usually in your

Terminal

1. Open Terminal:

You can open the terminal by pressing
Ctrl + Alt + T on your
keyboard, or you can search for "Terminal" in the
Ubuntu
applications.


2. Update Package Lists:

Before installing any new software, it's a good
idea to
update the package lists to get the most recent
version
information. Type the following command and press
Enter:

sudo apt update

3. Download Google Chrome:

Use wget to download the latest version of Google
Chrome.
This command will fetch the .deb package file for
Chrome:

If you are using a 32-bit system, replace amd64
with i386 in
the above URL.

For 32-bit
wget [ Ссылка ]...

4. Install the Package:

Now, you can install the downloaded package using
the dpkg
command:

sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

If you face any dependency issues, you can fix
them by
running:


sudo apt --fix-broken install
This command will resolve any missing
dependencies.

Start Google Chrome:

You can now start Google Chrome from the terminal
by typing:

google-chrome

Alternatively, you can search for "Google Chrome"
in the
Ubuntu applications menu.

Optional: Set Chrome as Default Browser (if desired):

If you want to set Chrome as your default browser, you can do so in the system settings or by running:

sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser
Then, select the number corresponding to Google Chrome from the list.

Command to remove Google Chrome

sudo apt purge google-chrome-stable

That's it! You have successfully installed Google Chrome on your Ubuntu system using the terminal. Keep in mind that you may need to manually update Chrome in the future, as it won't be automatically handled by the system's package manager.
