In nature, many fish swim together for various benefits, like better forage, protection from predators, higher swimming efficiency, but how do they form such collective behaviors is still unclear. To study this phenomenon and explore the underlying mechanism, we provided empirical social rules and implemented fluid hydrodynamic effects, especially the beautiful and complex wake behind the swimming fish. With this flow-physics-informed dynamic model, we can simulate how fish swim together at different situations vividly and comprehensively.
