@WaybackRewind Sample footage starts @1:22 Samba Parade @9:53 The Sony TRV-510 was one of the first Digital 8 Camcorders on the market. I went with it over mini DV due to my investment in Hi-8 tapes over the previous decade.
Shooting in DV format but on larger but less expensive at the time 8mm tapes. Therefore the cameras themselves were larger than Mini DV cameras, but not incredibly so.
Quality was good at the time for Standard Definition. Being interlaced it struggles a bit today on digital screens. But overall is not bad.
