ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A Butler County woman admitted to leaving her dogs in bitter cold winter weather without food.
Melissa Damico pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges. Three dogs were found dead at her home in St. Clair Township last January.
The sheriff says Damico had moved away and the dogs died of neglect in the cold weather. Four other dogs were found alive, but they were severely malnourished.
She'll be sentenced later in September.
