This test takes 5 secs. and will tell you if you have real or fake/imitation pearls.
If you have a set of pearls and are unsure if they are real or not you, you can perform the "tooth test".
To perform the tooth test, gently rub the pearls across the front of you teeth. If you feel a grittiness, almost like sandpaper -- you have real pearls. If it feels smooth like glass or plastic, they're fake pearls.
