Winter treks are best for everyone. They are a gateway into a winter wonderland. They are suitable for beginners and kids and everybody. Easy hikes, knee-deep snow, playing in the snow, fewer days of trekking, no more than 12,000 feet of height, sheltered by forests, and less exhaustion. All of this means less AMS chance.
Winter trek means walking the fairyland for real. With one exception, walking on the river through Chadar trek. -30 degrees temperatures in the barren are the ultimate test of endurance and mental strength. And the reward is a lifetime of happiness.
