Maybe the Best RC Trainer Airplane Radian UMX

All pilots, whether full scale or RC pilots, need to first learn how to fly on a trainer RC airplane. There are a wide range of trainer RC aircraft out there from plans to kits to ready to fly (RTF). This video describes what could be the best RC trainer airplane, the E-flite Radian UMX (Ultra Micro).

Any discussion of the best RC trainer airplane in 2022 must focus on excellent flight handling characteristics, plenty of power and the ability of the RC plane to recover from beginner flight mistakes. The E-flite Radian UMX meets all of these requirements easily.

Another advantage of the ultra micro Radian BNF (bind and fly) is the AS3X (Automatic Stabilizations 3 Axis) technology. AS3X are a set of solid state flight gyros that work completely in the background countering gusts in the air. Thus with AS3X you can fly your model is windy conditions that might ground other RC trainer aircraft.

What make the Radian a great choice as an RC trainer is that you can easily fly the model low and close in to your ground position. By this way, the beginning pilot can more readily see their flight inputs and the effect of this inputs on flight. This can be hard to do, perhaps impossible, when the RC trainer is flying further away in the distance.
