The Slickrock Loop Trail is 2.5 miles round trip
and graded as easy to moderate.
From the trailhead the trail climbs up onto a slickrock plateau situated between Little Spring and Big Spring Canyons.
From this high plateau amazing, unrestricted views of the Needles complicated but beautiful geology abound around the four points of the compass.
Because most of the trail is over slickrock, the trail is clearly defined by cairns.
