Location: Batu Ferringhi Night Market, Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia
Device: DJI Osmo Pocket
A 1-kilometer stretch of market stalls crammed together along Jalan Batu Ferringhi to sell clothing, imitation designer bags and sunglasses, watches, jewelry, phone covers, souvenirs, toys, paintings and much more. Many items are low quality knock-offs so its essential to barter a reasonable price. Higher quality items like locally made souvenirs and paintings can be hunted down by savvy shoppers.
The bustling street markets conceal some of the world’s best hawker stalls at Long Beach Café as well as a handful of beachfront restaurants and bars. Tuk-tuk rides, massages, henna tattoos, and tailor stores can also be found amongst the market stalls.
