I still can't get over this 116! Holy crap, is Indian doing something with the ECU? I know Harley runs the M8 extremely lean, could Harley match the power output through mapping? I've seen dyno sheet with lean numbers in low and high RPM area. Maybe we'll see a sport mode from Harley next year, don't hold your breath.

Another rider complained about the twitchy throttle, but I found it exhilarating. Having a Stage 3 feel at a push of a button, Indian is delivering in all aspects of their motorcycles. It's a welcomed change and having the ability to switch in between was fun.

Comparing to my LRS, it felt different due to the rider triangle. While riding in standard mode the performance was equally satisfying. Both bikes feel amazing, but having that sport mode could be a game changer. You could easily find yourself in-trouble with a 116.

I'm not a expert to Indian, so can't compare to previous models, nor do I know the bikes specs/features. I did enjoy the event and the new 116 Thunder Stroke.
I would've like seeing some changes to the Chief Dark Horse, like taller bars but this will vary between riders. Thanks for watching, ride safe.
