This is a recorded Solo Level speedrun of Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword, in particular Classic Mission 3 Subway Station (Virgin Moon). This was completed on Recruit Difficulty, with an in-game time of 0:39.
This was a rather lucky run honestly. The main issue of randomness is right at the end of the level, as the upper lobby can have horrendous enemy placement. I was very fortunate that many of the enemies were in easy sight of myself and my AI operative on Red, so it was easy clean-up. Green assists Red in the lower lobby, before heading in the direction of the first hostage, clearing out any enemies who are in the way. Gold roams around the map to all areas which my other teams do not visit (in particular, the left-side platform), just in case there are any enemies which are missed (he can also kill the sniper at the beginning of the level if my other teams fail to do so).. As is often the case with hostage rescue missions, the actual rescuing of hostages is completely optional, and it is much faster to eliminate all enemies instead.
With the right RNG and/or better aim, this time can probably be brought down further. However, having spent a fair bit of time taking my own times down from the mid 40s to 39 seconds, I think I will take a break from this level for a bit!
[As a side note to the keen-eyed viewers out there who are familiar with other runs of this level, one will notice that I do not start any operatives at the other end of the map by the upper lobby like Kotti, Ariwa and jtyotJOTJIPAEFVJ did in their co-op run of the map: [ Ссылка ] . This is because I could not find the option to do so in the planning menu. I have absolutely no idea how they managed to start there (maybe it is a co-op only feature?). If one could start operatives in that alternative location as well on single-player, this time would likely be absolutely slashed.]
