How to install a rear sway bar on a Mk7 Volkswagen Golf GTI. I went with an H&R 26mm rear sway bar, I got it lightly used on the golfmk7 forums! This is one of the quickest ways to increase steering on your Mk7 GTI. It allows the weight of the car to be more balanced front to rear by allowing more weight to transfer into the outside rear tire. From the factory companies tend to use a weaker rear sway bar to prevent over steer. This causes the car to push through a corner which is safer and more predictable.

Torque Specs:
Endlink to lower control arm, 25 ft-lbs (34 Nm)
Endlink lock nut to bar, 35 ft-lbs (47 Nm)
Triple Square Sway bar bushing 14.75 ft-lbs (20nm)
