I wanted something that would lather really nice, cleanse my skin, but also provide the added moisture my dry skin needs. With ingredients like Honey and Shea butter, I knew it would make my skin will feel soft and supple and not dry like with ordinary foaming cleansers. It truly gives the best of both worlds, a nice foaming lather along with tons of moisture.
This formula can be used in a bubble bath or in the shower and is great for nights you want to sit in the tub. It’s also an excellent shower cream.
Honey contains proteins, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and enzymes that have therapeutic benefits for your skin. It’s a humectant, which helps your skin to retain its moisture levels. And, is used medically as a dressing to heal cuts and burns. But, for this recipe, you can enjoy it as a moisturizer.
Shea butter, a fat extracted from the African Shea tree, is packed with vitamin A and has been shown to boost collagen. And, provides immediate moisture, and skin softness.
