Bucket gardening is a simple and inexpensive way to get started growing. Here's what to do:
• Drill several 1-inch (2.5 cm) holes in a food-grade 5-gallon bucket
• Fill the bucket almost all the way up with good-quality potting soil. I use the Raised Bed Mix from Arizona Worm Farm
• Consider adding an oya to help provide moisture for your plant. I use the oyas from Growoya [ Ссылка ] use code GROWING for a discount
• Use your area’s planting guide to determine what to plant, and it plant it carefully at the same level as the nursery pot
• Add a thick layer of mulch
• Water well (fill the oya too!)
• Put your bucket in a location that receives at least 6 hours of sun. Morning sunlight is best! (I put my bucket on some bricks to keep it up off the ground)
