In this short video, you'll get to see sea anemones in action as they grip onto rocks and other surfaces (like my fingers) during low tide on the West Coast. These beautiful and fascinating creatures are not harmful to humans and were not harmed during filming. The video was shot during the California King Tides in December 2022, a time when the tides are especially low and pools of water form on the beach, making it easy to observe marine life. If you're interested in foraging, ocean life, or just want to learn more about these amazing animals, this is a video you won't want to miss!
