In this lesson we show you how to quickly create a template HTML file in Visual Studio Code, using Emmet.
Typing ! and pressing the tab key in Visual Studio will generate a starter file for you. This will save you lots of typing.
Emmet can do lots more. But we will cover it in more detail later in the course.
For now, just think of it as a handy little helper that will make typing repetitive HTML easier and quicker.
