Welcome to episode #1 of our brand new Franchise Mode series on NHL 24! After completing our overview of the Vancouver Canucks as a franchise, we can now begin our tenure with the team and start to make some of the changes that ownership brought us in to make. The Vancouver Canucks are a franchise that have been through decades of misfortune, mismanagement, and, really, just pure disappointment. With nothing to show but three Stanley Cup Final losses in their 50+ years in the NHL, the Canucks are on the brink of returning to an all-time low as they have only made the postseason twice in the last decade, have one of the shallowest prospect pools in the league, and are easily in one of the worst salary cap situations. With no where else to turn, Canucks ownership has made a call to GM Data and his team of Assistant GMs to do the impossible: fix the unfixable team.
