Brooklyn rapper Nas Blixky is alive after a gun ambush last week that wounded him in the back and legs and left him determined to abandon his stage name, his family says.
Nas Blixky — whose real name is Nasir Fisher — decided that the price of laying tracks about guns and violence and dissing rival emcees on bass-driven beats is much too high, say relatives.
Fisher plans to walk away from that life, though walking is something he has struggled with since he was shot Jan. 27 along Rogers Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens.
Cops said Nas, 22, was shot in the back and the leg around 9:30 a.m. and taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made.
Police found TDot Woo, 22, shot in the head outside his home on Avenue L near E. 98th St. in Canarsie about 2:20 p.m., after the NYPD’s ShotSpotter gunshot detection system alerted them to the gunfire.
Medics took him to Brookdale University Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved. The shooter fled in a dark SUV, police said. Cops have made no arrests.

HARLEM, Manhattan — Fetti Gz was killed Tuesday afternoon after being shot near the Apollo Theater, police said.

The 23-year-old victim was shot in the chest multiple times about 3:48 p.m. at West 125th Street and 8th Avenue, across the street from the iconic venue. Police said they have not identified any suspects in the attack, but are looking for someone wearing a “bubble jacket.”

The man was taken to a nearby hospital, police said, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. He has not been identified, pending family notification. An investigation is ongoing.
