Most reviewers get to ride the bike they are „reviewing“ only for a short amount of time – sometimes not even a full day. I am looking back on 2 years and 35,000 km of riding in every possible riding condition.

Also, my verdict is based on a fully accessorized motorcycle – many of the shortcomings people find in their reviews can easily be fixed with the right accessory – who rides their bike stock anyway ;-)

I will spare you the list of bike specs that you can find with a simple online search but will give you my opinion on how the bike performs and what features stand out depending on how and where you ride it.

I will take you to Sardinia, the Alps, the Black Forest & the Vosges, to the German Autobahn, the Race Track, take you through lots of rain, ride the bike Offroad, talk about both of my crashes and close out with talking about sturdiness (after the crashes), reliablity and maintenance. I will cover Pros and Cons and will make the occassional comparision to the BMW R 1250 GS / BMW R 1200 GS (which I used to own before)
