The Tragedy of Macbeth was first performed in 1606. In this video, we are going to discuss Macbeth Summary in simple English.

Macbeth by William Shakespeare was often referred to as the Scottish play. Macbeth play was believed to be cursed.

We first discuss all the important characters of Macbeth play. Then we discuss Macbeth Summary Act I where Macbeth & Banquo meet the witches and hear the prophecies. Later Macbeth along with Lady Macbeth decide to kill King Duncan to becomes the king of Scotland.

Next we discuss Macbeth Summary Act II where Macbeth kills King Duncan and becomes the new king. In Act III, Macbeth murders Banquo and becomes horrified on seeing Banquo's ghost.

We then discuss Macbeth Summary Act IV where Macbeth meets the witches again who give him a false sense of security. Finally, we discuss Macbeth Summary Act V where Lady Macbeth suffers from sleepwalking. Macduff kills Macbeth.
