I get lots of requests for bike topics, like what's the best bike city in the US, or which city in North America has the highest bike mode share, etc. You know what gets me going, though? Bridges!
Bridges are constrained transportation links that funnel traffic of all kinds across a barrier -- usually water -- and the more modes they accommodate, the better, in my opinion. The vast majority of urban bridges in North America were built only with motor vehicles in mind, but some cities have reallocated space to create more comfortable facilities for people biking, scooting, and walking. Which cities (and bridges) are doing it best? Watch and find out!
