I switched out my traditional pedal board for a Fractal FX8.
This is the Mark I version and is about 4 years old. They have dropped in price and I picked this one up for a good price. It is in like new condition. I added the EV-1 expression pedal for wah/volume/whammy. I am not using the 4CM because there is no drive coming from the amp. The Fractal is dead silent so I have not needed any "humbuster" cables.
After about a week, I have a good understanding of how the interface works and what options I have for configuring the footswitches. I came up with this basic pedal board and configuration so I thought I would share it. I compared every sound to the "all off/amp only" sound to make sure I had unity gain throughout the pedals.
