Some thoughts on how to FPV drone for gamers, starting from the point of view of a gamer who wants to test the water but doesn't want to commit $1,000 to a new hobby just yet. I look at the LiftOff game drone simulator and test LiftOff controllers. Beginners can start with an Xbox, or in my case, a Playstation controller to see if they think the hobby is going to be fun, and if the love it, start buying pieces of an FPV drone setup such as Taranis transmitter which can connect to LIftOff. Then I look at how the different controllers change the user's experience of LiftOff and hopefully leave you with some useful ideas as to how you can start your FPV racing quadcopter hobby!
