Siri Neerchal fell in love with both mathematics and history at a young age and has spent the rest of her life searching for a way to combine her two passions. She is currently pursuing this intersection as an intern at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where she is investigating mathematical models for state failure. A self-described learning addict, she strongly believes that an interdisciplinary education is necessary to creating innovative solutions for the most pressing problems in the world today.
