This is a redux of my original Drill Rig, and allows for more expansion. It features more control over the drill placement, and adjustment. A conveyor sorter pulls gravel out of the system and stores it, unless you're using the synthetic materials mod this is what you want to do.

Part 4 of my drill rig tutorial, and a little bonus entry. Originally I was going to leave it at 3 parts, but decided to add a small section on automation. Using timer blocks, and the event controller to reset the drill system after the piston reaches max. Now, as I said before, you have to alter the way the rig works for the system to detect max piston length.

This is a simple demo on how it's done, with the tutorial on how to set this up for yourself. You can expand and go beyond what I've done here to automate the start and end of the whole process!
