This is a long form edit which will make you seem like you are right there with us! Join us as we undertake over 30 hours of travel and find ourselves immersed in this wonderful culture and well outside our comfort level. You should have the same "Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore" sensation we had!
Though it is possible to effectively communicate with the Hadzabe in Swahili, we both took the time to learn some of their native language. I built an app prior to leaving called the Hadza Dictionary, which includes audio pronunciations of their wonderful click language. It is freely available on the Play store for others to benefit.
