What should you take on a weekend motorcycle trip? Here is a look at what I carry in my tank bag. This is what I take for a regular, street only type of riding weekend, no dirt roads, and no camping. So if camping is involved there will be many other items. I prefer to not have the weight on my shoulders so I carry my water bladder, snacks and some other important items in a tank bag. When I am on my dirt bike I use a backpack for basically the same items, plus a fanny pack with tools.
