Now at East Dillon, Coach Taylor begins building his new team with rookie coach Stan Traub. Landry is transferred to East Dillon where he meets a football-crazed girl named Jess. Matt Saracen delivers pizzas by day and attends Dillon Technical College by night continuing his art degree. His relationship with Julie is falling apart after a fight with JD McCoy. Tim Riggins leaves college to return home to work at Riggins Rigs only to find his room is being transformed into a nursery. Still under pressure parents whose kids were shipped off to East Dillon, Tami debates sending Julie to East Dillon to ease the tension.
